Lisa Cerda Fernandez

She's a Latina filmmaker passionate about telling powerful stories featuring women of color and advocating for more women behind the camera.

Lisa Cerda Fernández is a Chilean Peruvian filmmaker. She's an Associate Producer at Radio Ambulante and spends her free time writing screenplays, providing script coverage, and attending film festivals and networking events in Atlanta. With experience as a production assistant for major studios like MGM and Amazon Prime, Lisa is dedicated to telling stories that highlight strong female characters of color, bringing more diversity and representation to the film industry. Her latest film, "La Santeria," pushes the boundaries of representation by reimagining the classic, beautiful Latina character with a dark twist. It will be showcased at the 2025 Portland Film Festival and the 2025 Rome International Film Festival here in GA.
